Larix Vodo: one of the most renowned dark Jedi in history
3000 years before the fall of the Old Republic, Vodo a student of Jedi Master Ciuu' Faa had begun his training after graduating from Mirnic University. Larix travelled to the Jedi training center on Kamparas to begin his training as a Jedi Knight. Larix could not however use certain aspects of the force, and this began to eat away at the young adept. Larix felt that he could not compete on the same level as his fellow students and so left the training center.
After two years searching for answers as to why he could not utilise the levitation skills of the Jedi, Vodo came to the moon of Yavin 4. Vodo had heard of the great Exar Kun, seeking the missing link in his power the young Jedi stumbled across the ancient Sith writings. Power came quickly to Vodo, feeding on the hatred and anger he had built up against his fellow Jedi and his Master Ciuu for not teaching him of the Sith.
Dark energy pulsing on Yavin 4 once more awoke Kun.
With Kun teaching Larix the way of the Sith, twisting and corrupting the young adept became more and more powerful. Tapping into the hate and fear Larix found ways to cause great destruction and pain with the aid of his new master.
Larix left Yavin and Kun on a quest to destroy the training center on Kamparas. With his newly constructed Lightsaber, and wielding the power of the Dark side Larix attacked the Jedi center. With no prior warning the trainee Jedi were no match for the Dark Jedi who cut them down as they struggled to assemble a defence. Jedi Master Ciuu confronted Larix and tried to reach beyond the abyss to bring his student back to the light side. To no avail. One of the most bloody Lightsaber duels in history ensued. Vodo wielding his extendable Lightsaber and Ciuu and his fellow Jedi Masters at his side. Many who witnessed saw the shadow of past dark Sith Lord's Freedon Naad and Ulic Qel-Droma. Vodo and Ciuu were killed in the battle.
Not much is know as to how the Jedi Master died, but it is said that he died saving one of his students.
